I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Nothing effeminate about taking care of yourself brah. You wanna look regal and aesthetic in advanced age or you wanna look like a tanned leather hide?

Will never hate on people taking care of themselves but here's the cliffs to skin care without the bs:

>sunscreen(avoid routine sunlight exposure past 30 min and leather skin is a non issue)

>little to no alcohol

>no tobacco

Other than that it's 99% skin genetics

I need to be better about sunscreen since I work outside all day

I don't drink at all

I have a cigar once in a blue moon.

Still would be interested in improving my complexion and reducing the slight darks under my eyes

Sleep boyo, dat dere deep sleep.

You're good as long as you don't smoke routinely(sorry tokers)

Sunscreen is HUGELY misconstrued, you still tan with it applied, just slightly slower. It's also the best thing to put on a burn since it deeply moisturizes(thicc viscosity creams).

Avoid tanning beds at all costs, it's too easy to over do them. The UV exposure is far more concentrated compared to the sun.

All of this is 10x more applicable to females, that 3x combo will wreck their appearancein their 20's.

Men made a better deal with the reaper given you don't have Danny Devito genetics.

Yeah there was one.

Cliffs:

-Face cleanser
-Sunscreen (lots of)
- Retinol-A is the only thing proven to make a solid difference

everything else apparently is just a bonus, may make a 1% difference or something
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Water is the only thing a man should apply to his face.

Only exception is soap to wash face in shower after having a sloot sit on it.

You should also definitely cleanse and moisturise. Add regular cardio, a lot of water, and a healthy diet and I agree that is 90%.

Minimizing sun damage is key as you said I use a moisturiser with 30spf on the daily to to kill two birds with one stone.

Beyond that I've experimented with retinoids, red light therapy, and copper/collagen peptides. All worked very well. After a LOT of drinking, smoking and partying over a decade I have great skin at 31. I don't think there's anything effeminate about wanting to look your best, and if there is then I'm cool with being effeminate I guess.

You got collagen supps like NeoCell that i've been sittin on...

Retinol A along with retinyl palmitate, and hydroxypinacolone retinoate help, but life extension sells a topical that has all 3 of them, but no reviews:/
https://www.lifeextension.com/magazi...ses-skin-aging

I copped this one this week and was going to use it at night
Exfoliating wise I was just thinking of going with a soap for when i start, instead of the 7 products that come in a box for 70 bucks

cliffs for good skin:

-u got blemishes / scars / post inflammatory hyperpigmentation?
-> use vitamin C during the day, and get yourself some tretinoin (aka a retinoid) for night.

-u got acne?
-> cleanr ur skin in the morning, and put some acne cream on it

-u got skin?
-> put some sunscreen on, or moisturizor with SPF. dat der SPF.

most u *******s probably dont wash your face / clean your pillows often which is a high chance why yall break out.

I stand corrected then. Stil yet to try it, just have moisturizer, sunscreen, cleanser and different brands of "serum" whatever the **** that is.

Oh yeah and eye creams lol

Eye creams are not necessary. The skin under the eyes is thinner so the creams are often less strong and it totally defeats the purpose. There is no magical eye area cream where the ingredients are different. You usually just get smaller package that costs more. A lot of stuff is just marketing.
