No caffeine brahs GTFIH

Was your strength/endurance effected by cutting out caffeine or did it improve over time? How long did it take you to adjust to having the same stamina and strength without caffeine ?.

Can't say since I haven't really been back to the gym enough to answer, but I feel I have way better stamina now in just daily life.

I'm sure when I get back it will take some getting used to, but in the past when I have taken weeks off to re-sensitize to caffeine, it didn't really affect anything besides being harder to amp myself up for a big lift. But that gets better with time.

Had to cut it out due to anxiety and sleep issues. I also hated relying on it for my mood and to be "normal". 3 days in and I already feel better, steady calm mood throughout the day, concentration slowly improving. I have been tapering down over the last few weeks I didn't just go cold turkey. 1st workout wasnt bad at all. Today in jiu jitsu class I felt gassed more than usual, but also ran 3 miles earlier today to fight off the sluggishness due to no caffeine so that couldve been a factor. I feel amazing,I actually have more focus then I did when I was drinking coffee.

Oh yea you'll keep getting better and feeling better. My mental clarity is the best it has been in I don't know how long. You won't have that insane peak of energy like you do from caffeine, but in a lot of ways that can be hindering.

Give it time. Your body will adapt. I've seen some people say that it may take 6 months until you reach your full natural feeling of energy depending on how much you abused caffeine lol. Which I did a lot.

I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy feeling like a normal human again and the energy that eventually comes with it.

Not sure. Don't do coffee or pop...or any caffeine daily.

I will say that the odd 300mg shot of caffeine from a pre workout when you are used to none will light up your world..

Caffeine turned me into a retard. I probably experience every side effect from it. I used to be extremely calm and my mind was always clear but now i have been a chaotic mess since i started drinking it in late 2016

I wake up feeling clear headed but after the first sip i can feel the poison

If people had one hit of caffeine first thing in the morning, and didn't touch the stuff again for the rest of the day, it wouldn't be a problem.

Moderation.

Funny because "Research" says it increases testosterone and libido. I think its the other way around, it causes a spike in cortisol too and that will kill your testosterone or sex drive. When I was in jail most of the dudes there were drinking coffee and this one dude wouldn't drink any coffee at all and I asked him why he goes "it ****s with your dick" you dont want that stuff.

Well what about the crash after? Its really hard to just leave it to one cup in the morning especially if you are working out later in the day, you are going to want that boost again. If you save the caffeine hit until your evening workout then forget sleeping on time.

I'm a morning lifter, so I consume caffeine upon waking, go do my workout and then there's no need for anymore later.

I personally have never felt a "crash" from caffeine, maybe it hits different for individuals. Or it could be when that time comes around I have about to or already had my first meal of the day.

I drink maybe one cup of coffee a year (srs). A single sip and I can't sit still for 2 hours.

8 hours of sleep does wonders for your natural energy levels

Only drink in the morning. I take the most glorious dump after my morning coffee. The anxiety passes after you build tolerance.

Well id say i had a pretty high tolerance. I was abusing the **** out of it. Anywhere from 3-7 cups a day.

Probably because you drink it and workout right after so you get the high off your workout and caffeine that lasts you late into the day. It all comes down to genetics I believe certain people dont have the right enzyme to process caffeine so they have adverse effects .Just like the other bruh in here it ruins my mood and makes me irritable with racing thoughts. Very rarely i get a good uplifting high from a cup of coffee ,and its usually why i keep chasing that high and consume it.

My morning coffee cup is huge.. about the size of 3 smaller mugs.

If i drink a cup of coffee in the afternoon i can't get to sleep at night. I dont take any bcaa or preworkout with tutti fruity artificial sugar and caffiene before or after training.
The only supp i take once in a while now is protein and not everyday. Some days i feel like i didnt get enough protein i take a scoop to top up my daily intake.

I could cut the coffee out completely but i enjoy the taste. It's been part of my morning ritual for years.

Probably a little bit. Without some sort of pwo I burn out quicker in the gym. But regular pwos and coffee make me jittery, gives me anxiety, makes my heart race, etc. so the cons outweigh the pros.

I switched to this chit and feel a lot better. It’s clean energy.
