Is the Adidas Ultraboost Really Good?

I love running, and I wear shoes that are extra cushioned(knees easily get some sort of pain from years of running/jiu jitsu) than those made for fast running.

I always have used ASICS NIMBUS, and they are great. But I am looking to try other brands to see what it is like. I read the cushioned runners from Adidas is the Ultraboost. Just wondering if any of you have any experiences with them? They are like $180, so are they worth it?

Also, the Nike cushioned runner is the React series.

Good for walking but terrible for serious running due to lack of adequate foot support. I prefer Asics and Saucony.

I'm a Brooks girl. Asics seems to be the next most popular in my running groups, though. I don't see much about Adidas anymore.
Currently: Marathon training (Run with Hal - Advanced I); The Work/Body Beast hybrid

Next race: Ohio 10K - September 12, 2021

I'm confident my alpha boosts were made in Japan, or in China by a Japanese person because they are indestructible, still working after 4 years of constant use. I'm sure it's not optimal for running, but I still run with them.

**** 'running' shoes. It feels like I'm using wooden sandals. These contour how my feet strike the ground.
