how is it even a question who won, fortunately he didnt punch when red was down, but does seem hes KOd pretty bad and blood on the floor - not good. Red shirt made a big mistake of getting too close when punching. If youre going to be punching it should be at the maximum distance you can punch at. He may have overestimated himself against the other guy, or not realized his error. He opened with a pretty clean punch to the body but if youre going to close distance need to be prepared to grapple, he intentionally put himself so close he couldnt land punch any more. He also hesitated as the guy grabbed his waist, probably didnt expect to get picked up and slammed but you always have to do something

lol if you get dropped you get dropped. 90% of fights i see online now are just body slams. looks like he was cornered anyway. street fight there is no rules or law
he could have elbow'd him or something. guy sucks at fighting. looks like he knows a stance and took a class or two and had his boy film thinking hed look good.

Severn and those old school fighters were awesome lol but yeah he should have been able to twist his body and buck his hips out to try give a bit of resistance and barring that its possible to have experience getting slammed and falling so you tuck and try land on your side and dont land on your head. But boxing alone is not to blame. This guy knew how to punch but not box. Controlling range and footwork is the key element of boxing. This is a pretty good write up on it

This applys doubly so in a fight with grappling. gSP said he thought his karate made him a great wrestler because he learned how to control range. One reason i think people overlook TMA schools. I have done wrestling, boxing, mt, karate. Only in wrestling and karate did we actually begin a form of sparring immediately with sparring every day. Mt and boxing you had to qualify, at least where i went, for the intermediate courses to spar at all, before was just fitness and pad work. And then up we would still only spar occasionally and mostly pad drill. Even if you are just tagging for points you are still learning how to react to your opponents distance.
