Ever had a friend cockblock you or get jealous?

I've been visiting one of my good friends for a few years and met this girl he knows.

I thought she might have been interested, she eventually would reach out to see if I was coming back to visit and when I did, if we could find time to hang.

Due to schedule didn't have much time to because I was there for my friend at first.

There were a few times my friend was like "She's seeing someone man" or "She's just being friendly" or would hint that she wasn't interested in me.

Just a few days ago that same girl hits me up out of the blue and is like "Hey, I moved to XX, if you're ever up here hit me up!"

So like... wtf, pretty sure that this girl is indeed interested in me, but why would my friend tell me she wasn't?

Yes. It's not like I really gave a chit, but someone willing to pull this move makes you realize the person isn't actually your friend.

I have a friend with this friend who we sometimes like the same woman, so I think he was trying to play favorites.
