Why don’t more lifters replace rice with lentils?
Seems like a more nutritious version of rice.
The only upside of rice I can see it would be easier to utilize before lifting.

Lentils are good, but they're very dense. They're good for someone on IF or OMAD with short eating windows.

I did make lentil dishes a lot but somehow still find rice a more convenient go-to.
My lentil approaches were almost exclusively Indian- but I see recipes for things like zucchini lentil fritters where you cook the lentils and then puree them to be the base of a patty.
