I usually read from "read comics online" website. Some stories I recommend:

a) Cat Sh*t One (story about anthropomorphic rabbit soldiers fighting in the Vietnam war)

b) Pride of Baghdad (story about a pride of Lions who roam about the destroyed city of Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Based on a true story btw)

c) Love (very interesting stories about animals and their difficult lives in the wild. There's no dialogue or script. It's just visual)

d) Born (Platoon like story of a company of US soldiers fighting in Vietnam)

e) The Forever War (Really interesting story about humanity vs aliens and focuses on how society and values change over the course of time as the war drags out).
