i think it was a major factor in weakening my spine, it actually went boom when i was banging the ex one night about 6 months ago. went away about 2 months ago, then i did bent over rows and form slipped and it came back again. but just from sitting with good posture for the past couple hours has already made a big difference, but now my low back is achey from sitting up straight. so i guess is im suffering from weak low back muscles too

Been there done that. Just gotta start doing more direct lower back and core work, see a chiro once every few weeks. Some days if you aren't feeling it don't push it.

I still have issues with it. I have degenerative disc disease. I am more flexible and stronger than I was before I got hurt.

can you not just call a chiro and go there? no clue how your system works since chiro is usually just an independent practice

I think bent over rows are actually worse because you will often resort to a yanking motion with a lot of looseness at the top. Deadlifts at least force you to remain tight right through the motion.

You should know if you feel it right down your hamstrings.

It sucks now but it can get better and reach a point where episodes are weeks apart. As soon as your inflammation is low enough for you to do some exercise you need to build an extremely strong core, stretch that lower back and your hips/quads. Dead bugs and glute raises/hip thrusts everyday boyo.

Will sound crazy but a lot of back pain is neurological, and getting back to doing normal things quickly will expediate your recovery

Deadlifts, BOR's and squats aren't off the table forever as long as you get that core under control. Dead bugs will humble you srs and highlight just how week your TVA and lower core is. Basically convinced me 90% of people have no business doing Hanging leg raises.

If your pain doesn't let you do basic Floor exercises look into the Mckenzie routine until you're good to go.

it's entirely centralized in my left glute, sharp stabbing pain. at first i thought it was piriformis syndrome but not sure.

I over did it years ago during seated rows . I had to compensate and now I actually row from the pulley above , but tilt my body back to replicate a row .
I’m going to actually implement some kind of foot rest on my Lat machine in order to put my feet up higher as I row .

Your too young to have issues like this already . Hope you recover quickly bruh

Lmao @ op claiming prolapsed/herniated disc without even having an MRI scan to prove it.

I actually have a prolapsed disc, and it’s fuking agony when it spasms. You literally can’t move (piss into bottles etc etc) can’t chit and will remain in this state for up to a week.

You have something like sciatica.

Fkn Fgts these days claiming they have major back issues from working at a desk.

Lmao you weak kunt.

sciatica is a symptom, not a cause in it self. also i said herniated disc, not prolapsed. thats obviously more severe

I dread sneezing even though my bad moments are now weeks apart. Sneezing hurts, colds suck dick.
