75% of all theft in this country is wage theft

With the riots and looting going on I decided to make this thread to put things into perspective. 75% of all theft in this country is from employers shorting hours and pay from the employee's wages, misclassifying workers, refusing to pay overtime correctly etc. Workers have little recourse due to lack of oversight from the government, and given how difficult it is to secure another job. Before you go off the rails and bad mouth the looters out there, ask yourself which party is truly against law and order, and who is actually destroying this country.

This. I'm as right wing as they come but the FIRE sector (finance, insurance and real estate) is out of control. I work in it. Just look at the stock market right now and what happened with Kodak. When i was entry level non union freelance i got cheated on OT once. They completely bungled the timeframe of a project and were looking at massive charges including to union guys they cant cheat. I stayed late i was out at 6 am in the morning still working. I had to work extra hard as well to pick up slack for guys who were ****ty. The whole company was ****ty and their workers were mostly **** too. They underpaid me about $300. Not a big amount for them but they still cheated and were trying to cover their own expense at the cost of my fair treatment. Turned down every job from them after that. I should have accepted then no showed a few but let them do their own ****ty thing.
