Anybody goofed in their 20s rotting and/or partying?

Gonna be 30 in a couple months, spent most of it rotting. Never traveled, no parties, etc. Not saying I'm gonna go full retard and make up for lost experiences, but its time to really grow up. If I don't grind my 30s my tour is truly over. Accepted there's no going back either LMAOOO

Luckily I have an Associate's degree and can get my Bachelor's in 2 years to make real money. Gonna start school next year, excited to do that.

I rotted a good chunk of my 20s due to medical chit, currently making up for it in my 30s. Definitely wish I did some of this stuff at an earlier age, but it's still super fun at 35 so I don't really care. Stay in shape and looking young and nobody gives a chit about age.

My early 20s was incel rotting SRS. Nothing but video games and a retail job to save for school. Managed to get laid one time because I was surrounded by girls my age. Went to Community College and got an Associate's and had a job lined up where I'm working now which is the only accomplishment. That was 3 years ago, damn time flies.

When this Corona is up I'm gonna start traveling. No reason I can't take $2000 or so and head to Columbia/Dominica

Yes, I made terrible decisions and spent years rotting. I'm still doing pretty bad but trying to get better. I have a severe lack of discipline and am prone to despair and self-loathing, which leads to a lot of self-destructive behavior. At least I can only go up from here.

Never compare yourself to anyone. You are never late to getting to do what you want to do. The best time for it was yesterday and the 2nd best time is NOW.

What do you mean when you say your tour is over if you don't grind and grow up though? What exactly do you want to do??

I didnt work too much in my 20s due to anxiety and video game addiction (mostly Everquest / Runescape / WoW). But got my stuff together in my later 20s.

Played lots of video games to pass the time. Now in my 30s Id rather browse the internet/youtube than play video games.

I screwed around all of my 20s and early 30s. The only productive things I did was buy a townhouse in Sydney back in 2008 when I was 29 and got a degree when I was in my early 20s.

I am almost 42 and about to exchange contracts on my fifth property, I also completed a Masters in Education in 2017. I'm not balling it, but setting myself up nicely for retirement in 10-15 years.

It's certainly not too late for you or most people on this board to turn anything around

no but it feels like it sometimes. I spent 6 years in school stemceling and then the market crashed when I graduated so worked poverty jobs and didnt have my first "real" career job until basically 27. People always think of like popping out of school at 22 and career maxing but it really was like 5 years later for me even though didnt really do anything wrong.

I played Runescape from age 11 to around age 20 srs. So I know dem feels OP

Once I hit my twenties, I just fukked around in school, failed out of college and then started getting into personal development, motivational tapes and chit. Kind of helped, kind of didn't. Thought I was going to be a professional poker player, but I didn't have the guts to take the leap.

Got hired at age 20 as basically a file clerk. Stayed there for 5 years making like 25K srs. Absolute loserville USA. For the next 5 years, I started selling products online and working as an office manager. Doing a lot better now, but honestly still feel under accomplished at age 30.

I honestly still want to get some type of education just so I can education mog others and pretend to be smarter than everyone else srs

Rotted from 18-23

Spent the last 9 months playing catch-up on career stuff

Still don’t have a degree though, I could never take school seriously.

Went to Europe for 2 weeks but besides that I haven’t done any traveling or partying. I’m not into partying, but I would love to travel more.

But OP you’re 29 it’s not even close to being too late

I feel you, I rotted from basically the start of my life until the start of college, even then I've had moments where I just stayed in my dorm gaming lol, but I do try to actively put myself out there. You are 30, that's still young af cuz, don't be demotivated. You could be grinding for 5 years with no results and hit it big the next year, life is unpredictable in the direction it will take you so just keep your head up. It pains me to see people that I still consider to be a young age feel pressured because they are "too old" when in reality its never too late to get back in the game.

Yeah man, those were some dopamine filled years. Low af stress, just enjoying the lack of responsibility before buckling down and going full bore into adult life

No regrets tbh
