Makes sense if you think about it. If you're out shopping, touching stuff etc, its best to wait until you're able to wash your hands properly to wash your hands. Taking it off as soon as you leave the store, increases the chances of contaminating the mask and/or touching your face.

I’ve driven with a mask for the same reason I’ve walked into stores without one. I fukin forget to put it on or take it off. Still getting accustomed to dystopian life.

This.....Some people are required to wear them for work as well. I usually assume they just put it on at home to avoid putting it on later after touching a bunch of stuff...

These... I usually go to multiple locations when I'm out running errands. Yeah, it looks dumb when you see it, but it makes sense when you think about all the people you're around, door handles, shopping carts, baskets, etc you're touching. The idea is to just keep it on until you're home to thoroughly wash your hands unless you keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in your car.
