Massage gun?

Thinking of buying a massage gun,
I keep seeing them lately and honestly it would be nice to help speed up recovery and help with knots and whatnot

Anybody here own one? What are your thoughts on them?

cheaper/better to buy a jigsaw with the massage attachments off ebay.

that way you will get more power and usually a longer battery life.

apart from that, from what i have read, is the cheap massage guns are pretty much useless... and if your gonna waste money, you may aswell get something like a theragun or along those lines.

Pro tip: keep the blade on to really get deep into those muscles

100% worth it. Spend the money for a good one, but I've had good experiences with ~150 dollar ones.

Have one and love it. Thought about the Jigsaw attachment but my jigsaw is loud as chit, couldn't watch TV while thumping or whatever.

I bought a hyperice hyper volt massage gun last year, and although it was expensive (like $350+ ish) its fkn amazing bro, srs. Gets all the kinks/knots out and I rarely go past the first strength setting. Its also silent.

OP, DO NOT get a jigsaw and turn it into a massage gun like some ppl ITT are recommending unless you want a massage gun louder than construction jackhammers.

The benefit of the hyper volt over other options (such as the more expensive theragun and much cheaper DIY jigsaw) is that its silent. You're going to shoot your brain out if you try an use a jig saw for 15-20 min.

Own both, jigsaw beats up tissue harder while the smaller/quieter ones are nice but have a short stroke and need more of a pinpoint attachment to get the same effect.

Can't disagree with this more.

Buddy has the Theragun, Hypervolt, the jigsaw attachments, and a cheap one off of ******** he got for $58 shippped

He kept the hyervolt, sold the others. I bought the cheapo. It has a shorter throw and slightly less power than the Hyervolt - I used both at his place.

Using the jigsaw attachments was the worst of the three.

So i just watched a 1 hour video on Flex lewis getting ready for the Olympia and in it he visits his "chiro to the stars" and he says that they are great and recommends them highly.

I had a Vybe Pro but was given a HyperIce HyperVolt (I worked in the industry for years). The Vybe was fine but the Hypervolt is basically whisper quiet. I didn't have any issues with the Vybe but if I had it to do again knowing what I know now I'd by the Hypervolt.

Hypervolt crew. I keep it in the entertainment center - when we watch TV I try and do stretches and massage. Can have a conversation with my wife and hear the TV no problem over the sound of the HV going full blast.
