Invited to Kindergarten Class Reunion; Told Me Not to Bring My Gf(Srs)

My classmate from kindergarten messaged me. Told me there will be a reunion dinner this November.

We were a small class(20 tops I think) but very close cuz of that. I was invited to come but I was told I cannot bring my gf(she is 23). I am not planning to go anyway but asked why. She said it is weird cuz aside from a couple of single people, the rest are married and got family already. Said one got a 20 year old daughter so it will just be weird and that she hopes I understand. She and 2 other people who planned this are the ones who decided my gf cant go. WTF?!
