Garage owner brahs, gtfih for an easy upgrade (lighting)

Just bought two of these LED bulbs for my garage - they screw right into a regular bulb fixture. You can point the LEDs down for feature lighting or turn them up for 360 degree coverage.

Here's the one I bought but search for LED garage bulb, there's dozens of choices, probably all made in China by the same few shops anyway.

^Apparently when I link to Amazon it's an affiliate link. I don't know how to turn it off. Not trying to make a buck, just search LED garage bulb and buy your own, I don't care.

Super even, white LED coverage thru our whole garage now. Looks good a.f.

My garage has light-gray walls so it reads a bit blue. There are other bulbs with different K values if you want. Doesn't have to be this specific bulb, but the technology is sick.

Thanks for awaring.

Can you adjust color/hue? Like if I want it not blinding white and want to remove blue light from it?

Or a dimmer?

Not on mine but I'm sure they at least make a dimmable one.

Only issue is since it's three separate light panels without a shade or light diffuser it casts 3 shadows on everything.

Definitely brighter than a single 100W bulb though.
Two bulb crew checking in so I don't really have any shadows.

My garage door opener is my main garage light. I'll need to figure something out first.

i've never had good luck with these SMD based LED lights, across the board the quality control is abysmal and the company is gonna be renamed something else by the time comes you need to warranty one

it's a really cool idea but man i can't bring myself to spend any money on one

I have 2 of these in opposite corners of my garage. They have a motion sensor, and when one shuts off it causes the other to turn on. Then 15 seconds later that one shuts off and turns the other one on. Now I keep the motion sensor off on one of them. They are definitely bright!

have one in my gym. the light is a little cool, but not bad. just make sure you get a UL listed one, not some of the Chinese trash that will set your ceiling on fire (Amazon has a ton of those)
