I think the novelty will wear off but it's the short attention span people have these days. You swipe from 10 second clip to 10 second clip. I didn't watch the video but once people have a high amount of views/likes their videos pop up like youtubes recommended videos. People who made accounts in the beginning of tik tok have huge followings. A girl my friend was seeing had over 1 mill followers and all she does is stupid dance moves (shes not even a dancer or skilled at anything)
