Do Jewish ppl take vaccines?

Hey i'm from a Jewish family but i never rly went to Synagogue or hung out with my ppl and my parents don't know anything about the religion but does any1 know if we take vaccines for the most part or exempt from it?

I think there was an issue last year because Orthodox Jews in NY were against the MMR vaccine for religious reasons and the government was fining them money and didn't let the kids attend their own private schools without the vaccine. Idk what came of that.

there is an article talking about it some. It might be behind a paywall if you've viewed too many NYT articles lately. I cant find what came of the situation though. Too many Covid-19 articles are flooding the search results.

It’s the super orthodox and Hasidic Jews who don’t get vaccinated. They also don’t partake in a bunch of there stuff
