Poke fun all you want but that's strong.

Yes he's getting some hip drive and all of that.

But that's strong and it's going to build the hell out of his traps too.

Irrelevant.

He's not just fatting the weight up above his collarbone. He's using his traps and shoulders.

I found an exercise that resolves that issue. I don’t know if you ever tried it, but if you run a strap through a kettlebell or two, you can do strap upright rows where your hands/shoulders have freedom of movement.

I first saw Jim Wendler recommending these over a decade ago. But I’ve also seen Chris Duffin recommending them in recent years too.

They will absolutely blow up your traps.

The recent videos where he is weighing 150kg or so is old videos. Don't know why he reposts old videos sometimes.

Upright rows in general are retarded for the shoulder joint but looks like you're pendulum rowing using inertia rather than focusing on smooth rom. Might as well do front delt raises with a plate, the kettlebell swinger goes to your biceps halfway up when arms flail not even mentioning wrist health here.

Try it and you'll see it's nothing like a front raise. Keep the kettlebell close to you and pull straight up with your elbows. When you reach near the top, pull back like a face pull. It's definitely not a biceps exercise lmao.

It's a traps exercise with a little side delt/upper back/rear delt in there too.

lol how is it irrelevant ? You telling me he doesn't have more muscle mass walking around at 450 than if he were to cut down to 180?

you just sympathise with people of girth and it clouds your judgement
