Mine is from 2014ish? Honestly I'd upgrade more often, but it still works ok and it has all of my work stuff on it. If it breaks again I'll probably just get a new one.

My PC is a Gateway, and I’ve have it for, I think, since 2009 or 2010. I just busted it out, wiped off the dust so my teenager could use it for school. My POS Lenovo laptop died after only having it a year and a half.

My most used computer is my laptop. It's from 2010. I added a free stick of memory to make it 6gb, put in a ssd and updated to win 10.

Got a desktop I built like 3-5 years ago but I mostly just play games on it.

Have a Dell laptop got it January of 2019. Feel like I want to get something better. But will probably use it until it dies. I'm rough on laptops. This one has some chipped plastic from flying with it, and the fan doesn't work right so sometimes in the middle of the night it will turn itself off and try to boot back up and fail the fan test. Makes a loud ass beeping noise.

2016 Acer laptop came with an SSD, 8gb of ram and Core i5, using it for the most part hooked up with an external 32" monitor, mechanical KB and wireless mouse.

I take my $250 Chromebook with me to class, weighs like 2lb's, nothing ever lags and has 15 hours of battery.

No reason at all to upgrade the ACER, if a PC has an SSD and >4gb ram and it's not for gaming then save the money.

Only use it for school work, YT and Flight Sim X - I use my xbox for RDR2 and GTA5

I'm not some narcissist f@g editing my chitty vlog so don't need anything powerful.

Mine is about four years old. Every few years a new game comes along that I can justify a new graphics card or full upgrade. Feels like I'm getting close again, but I game so little these days that it might be a couple more years or so.

1y old macbook.

My Air from like 10 years ago still performs incredibly. I'd prefer it if the battery worked. Apple made the best product around then.

2.5 year old chromebook

wanted to get a laptop a few weeks back, went to best buy. The cheapest one is like $450 and the average price is 1.5k. Fuk this I'll keep using my chromebook.
