Sounds like you have a minor pull in the glute or possibly upper part of hamstring.

Try foam rolling, take it easy on the squats and deadlifts, and see a doc to confirm it isnt anything more serious
You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

Had something like that where it turned out to be the TFL tendonities or tendon fascia lata. The tensor fascia latae (TFL) is a hip muscle that is well known to rehabilitation therapists and allied health practitioners. It is a muscle that may play a role in pain and dysfunction in the lower limb, pelvis and spine. It's a small muscle that runs down the side of your leg and it's responsible for stabilizing your leg. For the majority of people it is very weak and I had to basically strengthen it with a couple execises specifically. It's supposedly a really common issue with athletes so it's worth looking up and seeing if the symptoms match what you're experiencing. The fact that it feels better when you cross your legs leads me to believe it might be a tightness issue with some tendons in the hip.

+1 to the foam rolling, and look up some videos on YT on hip mobility and stretching. Take it easy on squats and DL the next week or two, focus on hip/hamstring stretching and mobility.

I had a similar issue a couple months ago where my left hip was in almost constant discomfort depending on how I was moving. Stopping my squats and DL for a week and just stretching for a few days helped 100%, no discomfort anymore. Sometimes you just need to switch gears. and I know it "kills yourself" to not do your usual gym routine, but consider the fact that if you take the time to heal yourself you can do your workouts properly with 100% intensity soon and not be distracted by this pain/discomfort.
