You know it, brother. First thing I did when I got back was purchase materials for the ITIL 4 certification.

Nobody can take your education from you boyos. Get after it!

I’ll get everyone ITT on recharge tomorrow.

GJDM, how long did you prepare for and what resources did you use?

also, how was the difficulty of the test?

Good job mane. I did PMP, APM and Prince2. PM is a hard af job, I did it for 13 years and ended up nope-ing out after my mental health suffered badly from it. Godspeed, it is a good place to make a name for yourself to move up the ladder.

Good job boyo! After I'm a PE, I want to get my PMP... hopefully those two things will help me break into management earlier. I want to be a Director asap.. hopefully possible by 40.

I prepared for like 6 months, on and off. I wasn’t very consistent. If you actually sit down and cover some of the material on a daily basis then 3 months is very doable.

For the materials - I would recommend Andy Crowe, the PMBOK, and PM Prepcast. The PM Prepcast simulator exams help a lot. I think I completed over 1600/1800 exam questions.

The actual exam was a little easier than the PM Prepcast simulator exams. I consistently scored 70-75-80% on the exams/quizzes and got all Above Targets on the actual exam.

You got it boyo. It’s not bad all. If you do it soon you may still be able to take it online at home (due to COVID) and not at a testing center!
