Sons of Anarchy: Terrible casting, terrible acting, terrible writing. Didn't believe any of the characters. Gave up when the white supremacist group just disappeared. Found out Katie Segal is married to the producer or Director, that explains that

Sons of Anarchy: a lot of the same complaints as OP

Game of Thrones: gave up on the show in season 5 or 6, gave up watching entirely at the beginning of season 8

West World: Never managed to finish the first season. Seemed tedious

Dark: Good for the first few episodes then got cliche and chitty (may not qualify as a popular show)

Stranger Things: Didn't make it past the first episode of season 2

Walking Dead: Boring as chit

I made it one (or maybe one and a half) episode into Dexter. Too gross.

I made it to like season nine or ten of The Walking Dead before I threw in the towel.

And I really liked the first season of Altered Carbon. Was excited for season two, but it wasn't nearly as good so I quit watching a few episodes in.

Knew I was gonna hear walking dead. I agree with both though. But I gave up on tv all together. Unless I have a chick in my bed though, I need background noise so I turn on the tv.

Boring and hate subtitles. Started watching Ozark towards the end of Narcos which takes off like a jet in comparison

I binged until the end of season 2 when I realized I couldn't stand any of the characters and if they all died in a fire, it would be fine with me. That's when I knew the show was a waste of my time. Literally could not have cared less about any of the characters.

I also agree about Walking Dead. I nope'd out of there after the episode where Negan is about to kill one of them with his bat, but the showrunners decided to leave it as a cliffhanger for the next season. They wasted all of those lead up episodes on angsty talky BS and instead of there being any sort of payoff before the end of the season, they decided to make everyone wait a few more months. Ummm nope. That's like paying for a happy ending and the massage lady stopping 30 seconds before you get it.

I also gave up on How I Met Your Mother a couple of seasons before it ended. The writing got stale.

Mad Men and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Didn't like any of the characters in ep 1 of either show and moved on. If you don't care what happens next, what's the point in watching.

Westworld and Stranger Things - Season 1 of both of these shows were fantastic, but they felt like complete stories, like a 10 hour movie. I never even started watching season 2 cause I feel like the story is over and everything afterward is just trying to stretch the show out for more money.

I wish I had given up on GOT after season 6... genuinely wish I could just wipe the last 2 seasons from my memory.

Parks & Recreation - just never made me laugh like The Office did. Amy Poehler doesn’t carry the show like Steve Carrell did, and the rest of the characters are too cartoony. Watched like 3 seasons hoping it would get funnier.
