Ask a guy that has been lifting naturally for 17 years straight anything

Turned 34 not to long ago. When i was 13-17 i lifted / exercised on and off. From 17-34 i lifted straight naturally. Never quit like most bros who take a year off here and there.

Right now i m about 245lbs, 6'0 max lifts Bench press 355, SOHP 245, Deadlift 505, Squat 505 (breaking parallel)

100% natural, no drugs ever.

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

Sometimes you get the feel. But i honestly wouldnt do it unless my natural test levels were low. Last time i had them checked I was on the higher end.

For strength i go more bulk style, see my pics lol.
If summer is coming around, usually up cardio and eat a bit less. With covid this summer i was doing alot of backyard quarantine barbell work and broke several all times PRs, trade off is by far not the leanest.

why did you stop lower body? for me a major issue is no chino/dress pants/ jeans fit in the thigh/quad

I do take pre workout and mono creatine.
Was always against it for myself. I do believe if i went on, i would be much stronger.

On leg days: i focus on low bar breaking parallel squats. Following 5/3/1 with some custom options.
I then finish squats off with paused ATG barbell squats or paused pinned (right above atg) squats

I then move on to some hamstring exercises. I do body weight hamstring curls on the GHD machine or lying/seated leg curls

Also do alot of Barbell or machined hip thrust ( i am big on this motion, helps to lock out squats/deadlifts).

Then always some type of calf work

mirin' legs

you definitely should cut. Would look real good. I used to always hover around 20% but recently, I cut into the low teens and am now just taking life easy and maintaining. Remaining stable is easier than it seems. Just don't eat like a hippo and you'll be good.

good work on the decade.

I have 2 reasons to not cut right now honestly.
1. I have being gaining strength at a steady rate, it would be hard to cut calories and watch the numbers stop or decrease.
2. It is almost a Sh!t hit the fan situation in america right now. I am keeping up with cardio, jogging 3+ miles once a week, and i d rather have the size/strength right now over aesthetics for self defense. When summer approaches and the world simmers down, i ll probably cut a bit.

Lights what is your age? i m thinking when i hit 40's i ll focus more on asethics year round so i dont have to slam my body under heavy loads.

ty bro. i will throw this out there. i ve focused always on squats and not leg press. i very rarely do leg press and if i do it, i do one leg version to help keep legs balanced. For whatever reason though, just like some guys have a body structure made for bench press, i think my measurements are at advantage for shoulder pressing and squats. So if you really are not built for squats, i d say still do them, but do throw in leg press tooo.

if you truly want to build size/power naturally you need to be on a reigmen (progressive overload) or whatever is prover to work and make sure your calories are right.
