Muh Daily Shytpost: NFL was surprisingly entertaining yesterday

As an NFLcel I kinda thought I would ignore football for baseball. Baseball has been super-entertaining without the fans cuz of shortened season, extra-inning scheme, etc. Also a lot tension creates pretty crazy mindsets of some of the players. With the usual 162 games most players are pretty chill vs. 2020 only 60 games...its wild out there.

But got right back into it watching yesterday.

TL;DR: COVID might make for more entertaining sports

Pretty good games. The commercials/ads are overwhelmingly annoying in the NFL (A lot of stoppage = more commercials).


I have actually enjoyed MLB a lot this year. Less stoppage = less ads/commercials. Less games = more importance, etc. I can't wait for MLB playoffs, hoping Phillies make it!


NHL was cool, but I stopped watching once Flyers were out.

Nfl is unwatchable live. After a play hit ff 30 seconds at least once and it’s just snap after snap. Damn near watch a whole game in 30 mins.

I've never been to an actual NFL game as there isn't one in my city. However, a friend of mine went to see the Ravens and he said its RIDICULOUS how many stoppages there are for commercials. When you are at home shytposting/eating/wanking while watching you really don't think about it ...but going to the games is a real drag unless you are drunk.
