Which city would you rather live in: Denver or Boston?

Denver. Close to the Rockies. They have hippies there but Boston has the same liberal mindset but without mountains.

Wouldn't be able to understand anyone in Boston but the California accent is pretty easy so there's another point for Denver

I wouldn't live in Boston if you paid me $5m srs. Nothing good about the city and the weather is garbage.

There are mountains pretty close to Boston actually, but not the same thing as the Rockies. Still I'd pick Boston because I love big city living.

My brother lived in Longmont, when i visited denver and boulder it was goat...not a fan of ft collins though

My former pastor and associate pastor are in Fort Collins right now. I had thought about visiting them but probably won’t because they’re in Colorado and I also want to be there kek.

I use to live in downtown Boston in Beacon Hill. Killington in VT is probably 2.5 -3 hours away. If you park at the gondola, probably 2.5 hours. The baselodge is another 30 minutes. Sugarloaf in ME is about 4.5 hours. Both are awesome mountains to ski.

How far a drive is Aspen from Denver? has to be far, I flew from Denver to Aspen once.

Boston. Prefer New England’s culture over Rocky Mountain’s. Also it’s a much stronger city with closer proximity to the best parts of North America. The Appalachians, Atlantic Ocean, BOSWASH corridor, Quebec, etc. The day/weekend trip options would be endless. Better food too.

Being in Boston it feels like half the population isn't even from here, many are here for work or school, cause their home countries/states don't offer what Boston does.

Massachusetts and New England as a whole leads the nation (and world) in education, health care and earnings, is the rest of the country even trying?

Ranked number 1 in the WORLD in the human development index





Living outside of here must feel like being in a 3rd world country in comparison

^^ Will agree with this. I learned to program computers in first grade at a public school in MA. If you put this school in Palo Alto people would probably pay 50k a year to send their kids there. We had a bunch of Apple IIes in the early 80s. really unheard of.

I have had surgery twice at Mass general, one of the best hospitals in the US. Dr put my hand back together. FDS FDP zone 2, probably a 99% result.

Spent about a week in each city in the past year. Both are great to visit. I wouldn’t want to live in either place, though.
