I've had it bro, it's horrible. Two courses of antibiotics didn't clear it up. It's a lot less frequent and a lot less severe now, but it does flare up for a week or two every couple of months

I drink Full strength Aloe, Green & ginger tea + spearmint tea daily (almost 3 weeks already). Also supplement myself with 16 bil probiotics. It does relieve symptoms but it still flares up after eating high fatty foods or if I overeat.I have a lot of problems with my stomach, mainly GERD. But I've tried tons of stuff for stomach relief, so I'll give you my list of helpful supplements
NOW Supplements, Gastro Comfort, plus Mastic Gum, Aloe Vera and Slippery Elm- This has an ingredient in it called Pepzin-GI which is Zinc-L-Carnosine. It's been shown in studies to kill the H. Pylori bacteria and help with other GI problems.
A Review of Zinc-L-Carnosine and Its Positive Effects on Oral Mucositis, Taste Disorders, and Gastrointestinal Disorders
Ginger Root- ginger is excellent at reducing pain in the GI tract. I don't have any studies or sources handy to show you, but it absolutely works and has been used for thousands of years as a remedy for stomach pain. It's one of the best supplements you can buy if you have stomach pain.
NOW Foods Peppermint Gels with Ginger & Fennel Oils- These peppermint gels are enteric coated so they won't break open until they reach your digestive tract. In studies, they've been shown to stop spasms in the intestines and have a calming effect on the entire GI tract.
Activated Charcoal- this is what they give you at the hospital if you've drank poison or something. But you're getting a much smaller dose. It helps with gas and bloating and works great. Just try to avoid taking it around any kind of medicine, as it can block absorption of it.
Hope that helps!

A probiotic wouldn't be a bad idea either.
I takeProbiotic Pearls Acidophilus. They're made in Japan and they use actual patented probiotics that were designed by Dupoint and other companies for real gut health. With most products, you don't know if they've been refrigerated the entire time they've been in the warehouse, but with the Pearls, they're manufactured in such a way that they don't need refrigeration. They're a really great product and would be another great adjunct to your therapy.
This other article from Life Extension is really good too. It explains both the pharmaceutical route you can use to take to get good gut health, then it explains the naturopathic way to do it, and it's all backed up with studies on everything they say. Print it out and give it a read, it's well worth your time.

Already been taking probiotics for 1.5 months. Stuff is legit, probably the one thing that helped me the most out of all the natural stuff combined with ginger tea.

I know I'm going to eat something that's high in acid or going to upset my stomach I take somePrelieffirst. It has ingredients in it that reduce stomach acid and reduce discomfort if I eat something hot and spicy or drink coffee or anything like that. But, I would recommend going back and looking at the Charcoal too. I think what you're taking now is pretty good. Spearmint can be a little acidic, which is why I recommended the peppermint that enteric coated so it doesn't open until it reaches your GI tract.
