Apollo 13, Contact, Sunshine, Moon, The Right Stuff, Alien(s), even The Wrath of Khan are miles better, just off the top of my head.

I won't mention more sci-fi horror, but Even Horizon was more disturbing in terms of what we could accidentally discover when pushing the limits of interstellar travel.

It's good, but there are just as good and even better out there.

it has a lot of great elements but they went full retard with the "love transcends time and space" stuff. i appreciate the ambition of it all, but there's a lot of stuff that doesn't work in it.

2001 is still the best i've seen. camerawork and sets keep it from feeling too dated. alien is up there as well.

a lot of people really like solaris but i thought it was really boring.

Star Wars is bad so that's not saying much. Alien was just a horror movie in space so meh.

Another really good space movie that doesn't get the credit hat it deserves is The Martian.

Everything about Interstellar was great except for theSpoiler!
