How would you go about sending an anonymous gift to someone? (Srs)

the website told me i can put their address in the shipping address but use my address in the billing address but i don't trust them would it be best if i bought the gift then went to the post office and sent it anonymously ?

The reason this kind of gifting is usually not allowed is because some stalky characters may use it as a way to violate their victims privacy. Is there something you are not telling us?
