Muscle imbalance from pinched nerve

So last summer I woke up one day with a pinched nerve in my neck, a pain that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, a pain that cannot be relieved by medication, and resulted in my right thumb going completely numb all the time.

I went through physical therapy and eventually the pain and the numbness went away, and what I was left with was the right side of my upper body being substantially weaker than the left. Most of the stuff I do is with dumbbells and landmines, so I train each side independently, and eventually built back the strength on my right side, but I still have an issue.

First, my left trap is visibly larger than my right. Second, my body actively recruits the left side of my body to move dispersed weight more than the left. I can see it when using a barbell for exercises.

Has anybody else gone through this type of thing and rectified the resulting imbalance?

Thanks
