Need Advice [Dear Diary] [Crazy-Ex]

Cliffs:

-Live-in GF of 3 yrs broke up with me back in June
-We share an apt (I pay $2k/month, she pays $1300/month). Lease is not up til 2021
-We bought dog together 2 yrs ago, I raised the dog solo for first 6 months of it's life, paid for the dog, took care of the dog way more than her throughout relationship
-GF has been living with family 8 hours away since June.

**Wants me to break the lease with her in October so she can get a new apt. solo (that means I'd have to pay ~10k out of pocket to break lease)
**Texted my sister that the dog is really hers, it's her "dream dog", etc.

I've been livin here bangin' hoes while she pays her portion of the rent (lol), and now I'm scared to even let her take the dog for a few days in fear of her going crazy and stealing the dog.

1. Explain the situation to the apartment manager and see if they'll work with you on breaking the lease for less. Thats a really high cost to break a lease.
2. Do you have receipts showing you paid for the dog and its upkeep? If you do she cant do chit. Even if its her "dream" dog.
