Got job offer. Reps until I’m out

Probably out of reps soon. Probably on spread with most who will respond but I’ll do my best.

Was in 2nd year of law school. Withdrew cause I hated who I was becoming. A month later just got a job in substance abuse program, helping counselors etc.

I can relate and definitely have more of a passion for this. Pumped to start.

Congrats brah! I'm definitely on the side of doing something you have a passion for vs something that will make you more money but will have you hating life every single day until you retire or die. There is more to life than money and if you are making a comfortable amount (for you) that's all that matters.

Also 70k less debt. I’m comfortable between 50-100k. Upper 50’s now and I’m cool with it. I get a lot of my enjoyment from life on outside hobbies and this affords that. I don’t want for much, but I wanted to feel good getting up in the morning and I know this is it.

I’ve also been around addiction and dealt with my own struggles so it’s close to home and it’s important to me long term to know I might be making a difference in the work that I do. As a lawyer I wanted to work in wrongful convictions which isn’t even lucrative. I can still volunteer at the innocence project to get that intrinsic reward, which is what I plan on doing.

I just hated who I was becoming. I wasn’t me nor was I fun to be around.

Still on recharge, but I’m going to try to get all of you if I can.
