Why did UFC Alistar Overeems body change so drastically did he quit lifting weights?

I remember this guy being so jacked now he has a dad bod, I think he just stopped lifting and is focusing on more fighting workouts not weights and stopped eating meat and went vegan. or maybe he had an injury and can't lift weights anymore, some fighters have pinched nerves and disc issues so they don't do much weights and just focus on function for fighting.

This why you should never quit lifting at least do some full body weights routine 3 times a week to maintain the muscle definition and don't go on a vegan diet.
