you can put hardwood down, tearing up the glued on laminate is by far the worst part of redoing floors that are glued onto the slab. the next step is self-leveling compound and then laminate or hardwood flooring.

Yeah, if this was realtea, in Colorado he would go to jail for destruction of property. Even counts for married, jointly owned property. If I get mad and fling my wife's laptop across the room out of blind anger, that's joint property and I can't get arrested. If I get mad at my wife and fling my wife's laptop across the room to get back at her, I'd go to jail.
