The xbox series x is a good buy for ADD brahs and casual gamers srs

Thats why i bought it. With the ability to have gamepass and have access to a whole library of games for one monthly price is makes it easy to try out games here and there without having to dish out $50+ for a new game, you may or may not enjoy. Im not a hardcore gamer so idk what games i even enjoy tbh. The last system i bought was the switch and that was for mainly playing with my wife but now im on that divorce time. Just getting back into it to keep me entertained and off the alchy too

Not to mention the quick resume feature which allows you to jump from game to game when you get bored. Like I said good for someone who has trouble focusing.

What's the retail on one of those? Will the price of the Xbox one x drop to 200$ or less when the series x drops? I ****n hope so.

The "Series" X is the newest joociest model being released, which I am too broke for, so I'm hoping for a huge price drop on the previous models.

Coming from someone who has a PS4 (my last gen favorite) and the Xbox One, the Xbox Series X is a way better buy. Microsoft is allowing all Xbox One games to work on both platforms (free upgrade to the Series X version if played on the Series X) and the use of all Xbox One accessories, headsets, and controllers on the Series X. Meanwhile Sony charges you more for the 'enhanced' Ps5 game and Ps4 controllers don't work with PS5 games. Not to mention the Xbox Game Pass is a great deal tbh. Works with PC too, and the Xbox exclusive digital games like Halo, Gears, Forza can be played on PC too for those master race brahs.

Yeah Sony is really trying to milk their fanboys hard, the fact that those losers are still trying to defend them shows how they are truly the beta cucks of the gaming world.

Can’t understand why they don’t add kb/m compatibility to the consoles and have games compensate ala like cod does cross platform. Being able to play mmos, rts, moba etc with the same people you’d play console games with is a game changer.

It would make pc gaming obsolete for all but the really high end.

Game pass to me is not an argument, becaue I don't even have much time to game. So my PS5 will have only games that I want, and have time to play, carefully and strategically selected.

LOL @ Xbox fans, just lol

I'm not a gamer and don't own any consoles, but I'm interested in this xcloud stuff. Brb can sit at the bar and slay some covenant on my galaxy s20.

For a VERY occasional player I'd rather skip buying a console and just pay the 10 bucks a month for xcloud and always be able to hop on some gta if I get the itch.

Can also connect my phone to the TV and play on the big screen too.

what about that cloud gaming thing (I think it was google), where you only need a controller to log on and play on your TV, did that gain any traction yet?

I mean if that works it doesn't get more casual than that, brb only need a TV and a controller to game

Let’s run through what you need to try it yourself today.

It’s possible that you might already have all the necessary components to make it happen — on Android, anyhow. But if you’re looking to try out xCloud on an iPhone, the process unfortunately begins and ends right here. Apple hasn’t made an exception for xCloud or any other game streaming service to exist on its App Store, and it doesn’t seem like it will budge.

As my colleague Tom Warren put it, “Apple wants companies like Microsoft to individually submit their games as separate apps using its streaming tech,” and Microsoft doesn’t want to do that, calling Apple’s requirements “a bad experience for customers”.

But assuming you’ve got an Android device, here’s what you’ll need to try it yourself:

Asubscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the Microsoft service that costs $14.99 per month and also provides a catalog of Game Pass games on both console and PC,as well as Xbox Live Gold for online multiplayer, and discounts on games.

An Android phone or tablet that’s running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or later, and has Bluetooth 4.0 or greater. You’ll need such a device to download the app from the Google Play Store. As mentioned before, Apple is currently taking a hard stance in not allowing any cloud game streaming services, including xCloud, on its App Store for iPhones.

A compatible controller to connect to your phone or tablet over Bluetooth, or USB. In regards to connecting via USB, you should be able to use a micro USB (which the DualShock 4 and Xbox wireless controllers use) to USB-A cable with an OTG adapter (micro USB, USB-C) to fit your phone’s charge port. The Bluetooth-ready Xbox One wireless controller will work just fine if you add a phone clip, but note that the older one with glossy plastic near the shoulder buttons doesn’t support Bluetooth.
