Unless you also have muscular endurance.

I noticed strength helps quite a bit when I used to grapple.

But with boxing, chit went downhill fast when I got exhausted after hitting pad for 30 min.

I could barely do 5 fuking pushups (max is 50 when fresh) after hitting pads.

Work on ur conditioning boyos.

Usually dudes who train MMA carry themselves a lot better than liftbros which adds to their attractiveness.

Different kind of fitness right, kicks your ass. Same with roadwork versus cardio machines, treadmills and stair masters will not prep you for a real run.

Think about how robotic the movements lifters do are. Very rare to see lunge patterns from males let alone changes in direction or jumping. Last time you saw a back bend? How rare it is to see good pull ups and dips?

Couple that with a poor attitude to stretching and many lifters just have poor athletic ability.

Yep. The only reason why I was able to learn how to punch fairly quickly is because I did oly lifting for years (relax arms and shoulders & use core and legs to generate power).

If I trained like a typical brobuilder with bicep and triceps split, I'd surely move like a robot.

Many lifters would consider my training as fairly functional (good mix of oly weightlifting and calisthenics).

But without cardio and muscular endurance, they didn't mean jack Lol.

But if your workouts are athletically related, wouldn't your cardio & muscular endurance not be rock bottom?

For the record, I barfed the first time I did a full boxing cardio related work out.

Yeah the problem is I never worked on my cardio. So my muscles died super quick after a short period.

You been in real fight before? Not always the case.

Unless you sucker punch and the dude gets punched without being aware, it's actually not easy to one punch knockout someone (if similar size)

Real fights rarely occur under ideal circumstances, ideal being:
1:1
No weapons
Normal unobstructed surface
Both participants sober
Clear rules
Referee
Weight classes
Both participants know it’s a fight ahead of time
