car brahs who know about CVT get in here
I have a 2012 mitsubishi Lancer with 80k miles that I just got back from the dealership after spending around $2500 in repairs and I'm not sure if it's in my head or not but my car sounds loud as hell when accelerating, also ever since I got my car back my check engine light is now on. I barely touch the gas pedal and my car is roaring. The sound is coming from the front, can this be a sign of failing Transmission?
Also I had the transmission serviced for $300 at 60,000 miles only to completely die on me a about 6 later while in another state that I had to pay $900 to overnight the damn CVT transmission, everything else was covered by the warranty. So the Transmission was replaced with a brand new one. What are the chances this brand new tranny is taking a **** on me? Also since my tranny was replaced with a warranty whill the brand new tranny also have a warranty on it? I should of bought a new damn car like I originally planned to instead of spending $2500 on repairs.
EDIT: when car is accelerating the loud sound sounds like an engine reving. It's not crazy loud, just way louder than it should be for lightly touching the gas.

CVT belts are notorious for breaking easily.

Edit: my point was that they break easily as a warning.
I have no idea what the noise could be from.
