Autumn Mountain Pics: Views, fall colors, blue skies

I've been doing a ton of training in the White Mtns of New Hampshire lately and the views the past month have been epic with fall colors.

Here are a few from a mid September trip up Mt Garfield (10 mile round trip). Leaves were just starting to change. Crisp temps that morning. The skies seemed to stretch out forever

obligatory summit beer @ 8:30AM. gotta get that early start

Looks nice. But when I think of fall, it's usually upstate NY that takes the cake.

Planning on an out of country trek in early 2022 to summit something huge. I was gonna try to go in 2021, but COVID happened so I didn't want to throw money down on an expedition to have it get cancelled

I'm jelly, the highest mountain in my province is poverty @ 3300 feet. But this gave me motivation to go on a road trip in the next few weeks.

Don’t have any pics handy but fall colors this year seem to be extra vibrant. Can’t remember last time the yellows were so bright.

Yeah we used to go there in the 90s. Was great. I think BMW used to use that location for commercials too.

I hear that, I lived in Illinois for a short time and it was way too flat for my liking

Lots of golden yellows a few weeks back, then last weekend it was the bright red & oranges. It's at different levels at different elevations as well.

This was a cool ridge walk I've done multiple times. I try to do it every fall.
