The senate is majority Republican supporting a republican presidential appointed candidate.

There is no question on whether or not they will have enough votes to confirm her.

She will be the next Supreme Court justice.



The house is a Democratic Party majority. If it were up to them, they would not confirm her simply to spite the president. Regardless of her qualifications or capability.

There are 9 justices on the Supreme Court. That number can be increased by Congress. So when Biden/Harris win (unfortunate - they're both scum, just like trump/pence), they will likely win the House and possibly the Senate. If so, they will increase the number of justices for the first time in over 200 years, then appoint far-left justices. Which will just lead to Repubs doing the same in 4 years. And it'll be never-ending and destabilize our country. All so Becky Sue in Georgia can get a 3rd trimester abortion.

That's not really how it works. In order for the legislation to pass the Senate they need 60 votes not just a simple majority. Otherwise the minority party can filibuster the legislation. So they will not pack the court because they won't be able to increase the number of judges.

Do you really believe 2016 is happening again? True, the polls back then didn't capture enough Trump voters but I imagine the survey designers have improved their methods. The only way Trump wins is if in the swing states enough closet trump voters turnout for him. That seems extremely unlikely. Harry Reid changed the 60 vote rule on judicial nominees a few years ago, unilaterally, as the majority leader in the house.

Its gone as soon as anyone that wants it gone says so. 51 votes to pass senate constitutionally.
