What are the best scams in the history of sales?
I'll start by saying - delivery fees tacked onto the main bill by restaurants.
They started it off with $2 "delivery fees". Now that has been increased to as much as $4 "delivery fees".
The delivery fee has nothing to do with the driver's tip, which you are expected to include entirely seperately. Furthermore, the raised price by the delivery fee automatically increases the amount you are expected to tip driver based on percentage. Last, but not first, it's actually significantly *cheaper* for a company to send a delivery driver out to you (assuming the expect the delivery driver to provide their own car for work) than to have you dine in at their establishment.
Basically, the "delivery fee" is a big "fuk you" extra charge, for no other reasoj than "just because". Not only that, theybare completely screwing their drivers over in the process. That's $2-$4 more that the person ordering might have given the driver. But noooo, they just have to screw everyone besides themselves as hard as possible.
Delivery fees are the ultimate, and final cuck. Think about it logically.

The Fyre Music Festival was billed as a two-weekend, immersive experience in paradise where festival goers would enjoy top musical acts, party with supermodels and stay in lux accommodations on a private island in The Bahamas once owned by Pablo Escobar.

Hello, we’ve been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty....
“The Misc. is a stone-faced Uncle Sam with Popeye’s forearms and a cocked pistol in each hand. It’s a screeching bald eagle with a foreign Bad Thing in its talons. It’s everything that defines America’s bro culture, magnified and weaponized. But it’s deeper than that.“

Those electronic rust protection devices they try to sell you when you buy a new car.
"They use the same technology to protect the hulls of ocean going container ships"
That's great but I'm not buying a bloody ocean going container ship.

Rental car insurance. Most people's car insurance plans cover rentals as well. Total waste to purchase it extra from hertz or enterprise. Total scam.
