Just helped ex move out of my apt

Fkn beta emotions I know, but still tougher than I expected.

Broke up a few months ago after 3 years together, I've smashed a few chicks since then and have 2 fwbs; still hit me right in the feels. My dog whimpering as the door closed behind her on her way out got to me. Fack brahs. Know I will be fine, just still not a fun day.

We broke up because I stopped giving a **** about socializing with her 25 y.o. friends one year into our relationship. I couldn't be bothered to go to these stupid clubs, brunches in NYC, etc. At her age that is the type of stuff she wants to do, and she obviously ain't the right chick for me / we aren't compatible. Went trough something similar 3 years ago, except i came from work and nothing was on the house. I already knew most things would be gone but when you walk inside you still expect somewhat of what your home used to be, except it was just an empty space and some walls, **** was crazy that wasnt a home no more.

Hindsight is 2020 though, and now i can say it was one of the best things that happened in my life (srs), but still, that was a tough day.
