If Earth is in a giant vacuum, why does the air not get sucked off? (no homo)

If we're in a big box of a vacuum, why does the Earth still have air stuck to it

Vacuum cleaners can lift air up, so are vacuum cleaners stronger than the vacuum of space?

Gravity, and the electromagnetic field generated by Earth's core prevents the sun's radiation from the atmosphere from being ejected off of the planet.

Isnt it crazy how the universe “just works”?

Mind blown
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

Not only that, but the entropy amounts to variable fluctuations in temporal climate conditions.

Because space isn’t a vacuum?

Bigger question is why an idiot like op thinks outer space, with 0 gravity outside of objects with mass like planets and stars acts like one giant membrane equilibrium where high concentration naturally gets pulled to lower concentration because of a force (gravity) that not even the smartest physicists can explain

Metaphorically it’s often referred to as such because it’s devoid of matter. But that theory is being invalidated with research into things like dark matter and the recent discovery that photons can form matter under special conditions

Intuitively it is not that hard.

If you take consistent pressure inside a container and (all things being magically equal) insert matter in there, then the pressure will increase due to otherwise negative space protruded by matter.

If you think about it theres quadrillions of stars and possibilities, we happened to land in one of the sustainable life chances

And above it all to think there's no real reason we can even come up with to reason why the universe is here instead of not being here.
