what was your first thought after your firstborn was born?

i feel like i would be excited but there's that nagging "19 years of responsibility" voice in the back of my head

I’m not a fan of babies. That stage pretty much sucks. It’ll get better in a couple years and be the best thing ever. I have 2 kids and they mean the world to me. Not to say their aren’t challenges occasionally, but overall if you make them into good kids it’s the most rewarding thing a person can experience IMHO.
