Does Electric muscle stimulation work for weight loss?

An EMS(electric muscle stimulation)gym opened near me. They said it helps with fat loss and increase in muscle(u still hv to diet and exercise)
Wonder if any of you have tried it and gotten results or is just BS?!?

All it does it force muscle contractions. Yeah you can lose weight its just a really expensive an unnecessarily painful way of losing weight and gaining muscle.
