Why isn't Ball Earth moving at the "speed of light"?
If you have something flying left

and you keep pulling it down ("gravity"), aren't you adding to its momentum/speed?
And if you keep adding momentum to ball Earth, every second, in a "vacuum of space" (so there should be no friction), why doesn't Ball Earth get launched off the "Sun" ?
