Zildjian or Sabian? [drummers thrad]

Imma get my old drumset out from high school and buy new cymbals for it.

I'm trying to decide between Zildjian A or Sabian XSR for a classic rock sound.

I got confused with Dr.Marten font and the Zildjian Font.

Zildjian k sweets (hats/ride) with clustered hammered crashes, FX stacks (if you want a stack)


I was a high end Meinl guy for years and nothing is touching the sweets and the clusters right now

Zildjian K classics are the most recorded cymbals in history if you are going for that classic sound...but the K sweets are 100x better
