Religioncels = Low IQ
"A meta-analysis and an updated analysis by the same research group have found a measurable negative correlation between intelligence quotient (IQ) and religiosity.[4][5] The correlation was suggested to be a result of nonconformity, more cognitive and less intuitive thinking styles among the less religious, and less of a need for religion as a coping mechanism.[6] Some studies have shown a correlation between national average IQ and levels of atheism in society.[7] Less developed and poorer countries tend to be more religious, perhaps because religions play a more active social, moral and cultural role in those countries."

Can confirm, there’s this old washed up low IQ sloot living beside me that found god .
One thing I noticed about all these Bible thumpers is when things are going good they feel so blessed ,but when chit goes south for some reason they have this total mental breakdown.
And I swear they’re all alike and have the same MO .
I tell them that the difference between a religion and a cult is social acceptance

Low IQ is also easily refutable scientific positivism. Just because the big mass of mindless followers on one side is slightly less retarded doesn’t mean this side wins. Both don't have a single original or complex thought in their heads. Always listen to the top elite of thinkers for complex philosophical topics and not some smart sounding halfwit.

It's incredibly hard to believe that intelligent, modern human beings believe in nonsense like what is put forward by organized religions. I fully understand and accept the fact that we can't know for certain if there is anything else out there. The universe is infinitely vast and we really don't know what lies beyond, so it's alright for people to have this grander sense of spirituality. But believing in things like the stories written in the bible and that some dude 2000 years ago died and magically rose from the dead and ascended to the sky to live with, as you put it, our 'sky daddy' and now he's collectively our dad and we wear funny hats and go to church on Sunday and symbolically cannibalize him and drink his blood and ask him for stuff.
Life is scary, unpredictable, and uncertain. Life is tough. Humans aren't great with uncertainty - it's painful. So I completely understand the need to come up with beliefs as a coping mechanism. It's much less painful to think that my son who was killed in a car crash is up with god in heaven looking down at me and that god has a plan than to internalize the belief that we can all buy the farm at any moment and your dead son is gone forever and there's nothing more to it than that.
If you want to believe this stuff then go right ahead. As long as you keep it to yourself and don't push your beliefs on other people, then feel free I guess. It's not easy to believe that there really isn't any purpose to life. We're just carbon-based lifeforms on a planet floating around the vast emptiness of space. It's much more comforting and reassuring to come up with stories like those put forward by religions. Also, it was absolutely a way to control people and keep them in line. You have people believing that, if they do something bad, the devil will arse-rape them till infinity as they burn forever? Cottamn. I would stay in line too if I believed that.
Also, to make a long story short, IQ is bullschit. I don't think any self-respecting scientist believes in IQ scores anymore. Just pure nonsense. I was given a legitimate IQ test at 15 and I scored 135. I don't know what I'd score at now. Don't care either.

If they were born in Ancient Greece they would have worshipped Zeus, if they were born in Ancient Egypt they would have worshipped Ra.....
Most likely they were born and raised into their religions which means they are hardwired to believe this chit

Also, people more intelligent than you also were atheists and didn’t believe in God (if we are even going to consider intelligence a thing). Does this also mean something?
