Liberals: Why do you believe guns need to be regulated?
Would you support a full ban?
If democrats wanted to ban, would you vote republican?

Heroin, crack, murder, rape..they all existed before they were banned now they don't. Same would apply to guns

We are past the point of no return and nothing can be done with FEAR being marketed by 1 party, harder than actual policy.

Conservatives love the war on drugs and it has proven to be very successful. Thus, anyone who supports the war on drugs should logically support a war on guns.

Been in the market lately and have been encouraged by all the CA gun owners and gun shoppers lately. The more people who legally want to own a gun, and find out how difficult it is, the better the chance the laws will change.

Its not that liberals want to ban guns. They use guns as much as cuckservatives.
Its just that they're not beholden to semi automatic machine guns and the NRA

I'll give you my OPINION, but I just ask that you don't neg me for it. I think this is what most 'liberals' want with gun control. First, we want the assault weapons ban back that was in place before GWB was president and let it expire. Guns made for military combat don't need to be in the hands of civilians. Sure, they're fun to use, and may provide protection, but for the greater good, we have to keep them out of the hands of nuts like the guy in Las Vegas who shot up that concert.
Second, we want to see a ban on extended magazines. If you're using them for sport like hunting, you don't need that many bullets in a single magazine.
Third, we want real good and thorough background checks on gun buys. Close the gun show loophole to prevent straw purchases. Check the history of the persons mental state, whether they've been to prison, whether they have domestic violence charges against them, shìt like that.
I even believe there could be an exemption on the assault weapons if you prove you're in an area where you need something like that. Like if you live in an extremely rural area, or you live on the Mexican border. I think the bureaucracy they have setup now to get a license from the ATF is probably too hard for average citizens to do, but maybe that's a good thing - I don't know. I don't think people should be able to buy machine guns unless it's for a very specific purpose, like what Forgotten Weapons does on YT, where they show the history of the gun, fire it, explain it, etc, etc. I don't think people should be able to buy silencers/suppressors either. I'm sure someone will make an argument that it can be used for legitimate purposes - but that's the catch. All this stuff can be used for legitimate purposes, butfor the greater goodwe all have to be willing to give up a little bit of our freedom to stop this crisis of mass shootings in America. Easy access to military style weapons of war is just makes it too easy for nuts to get ahold of these weapons.
That's my opinion, again, I ask you not to neg me, just debate your points in a civil and reasonable manner and we'll discuss it.

Even logical conservatives would agree that there are elements of guns that need to be regulated.
It's only the retarded rightards that assume practical steps such as background checks at gun shows, etc. amounts to people wanting to ban guns.

I think it's mostly white libs that think banning guns would protect minorities from evil patriarchs that shoot them just because they break into their house, etc.

what about liberals who don't believe guns need to be regulated?

Leftists only want the 2A banned because of law abiding citizens. They only want to make it harder for us law abiding citizens to protect ourselves. They have yet to proffer ANY LEGISLATION WHATSOEVER on how to take the guns away from the felons in gangs who shouldnt have them int he first place. But then again, thats who they want to protect. Their fellow lifelong criminals

It's interesting that in America a liberal is a political term for something that in many cases is not very liberal, it's nothing liberal about a ban or restriction.

But on a serious note. Open carry was banned in California because white liberals thought it was scary to see black Republicans with guns openly carrying. And that's the day gun rights went downhill in the state.
