I live a selfish life

All this fuked up sh*t going on in the world, all these massive, intricate, and nuanced problems. All the politics and agendas.. And I simply don’t care.

I just want to live my simple life and do what I want to do as long as I can, and kick my feet up even if society is falling apart around me.

Maybe I’m part of the problem by not educating myself or not trying harder to be involved and help change society. Maybe the fact that I’m this way is exactly by the design of the so-called “elite” and my apathy would have our forefathers turning in rolling in their graves. I simply do not care.

For topics I'm either blissfully ignorant, or unwilling to learn and/or act. Just let me live, increase my net worth, keep up the health, indulge in my hobbies/interests, and let me RIP when I'm of old age.

GF can't stand that chit but tough nuts.

EDIT: USA can go Democrat, Republican, Communist, mostly just don't give a crap. Society can keep looting or spamming my phone with Vote Democrat calls/voicemails. Only thing I care about is what I think directly affects me, such as abortion laws, would be ideal to keep that in place imo to prevent unwanted kids.

If you don't have children, nothing wrong with this, that's how I justify it to myself.

If you bring children into this world with that attitude, it's a bit messed up.
