i got hit on by a ton of boogie gay black men when i was there. It was weird. I was dressed like i came off the set of Brokeback but im not gay i dont think i give off those vibes

I live on a ranch taming and breaking horses in the middle of nowhere and it was a shocker to me.

Srs answer. I have a love-hate relationship with Atlanta.

I like the culture. You can find any type of food imaginable in the metro area. Cool nightlife scene. Best looking black women I’ve seen in any city. If you like datass mane, go to atl, hnnnnnng. Fairly affordable for a major metro area too. You’ll have fun, that’s a given.

But the city kinda sucks. Downtown is crawling with homeless people. Srsly. You can’t walk a block without getting asked for change. They’re camped under every overpass. Worst city for the homeless I’ve been to on the east coast (LA & SF are 10x worse tho).

Midtown is pretty decent, but feels underwhelming for a city of that size. Buckhead is like they built a bunch of luxury chit miles away from the urban core so urban people can’t shop there, then ran a highway through it all so it doesn’t feel like a proper downtown area in any way besides the high rises. Snobby too.

The rest of the metro is hit or miss. A lot of suburbs are ghetto AF. Some are nicer. Some are redneck chitholes. The whole area feels endlessly sprawling too. Even inside Atlanta proper the layout looks like some rural countryside with stripmalls at every intersection. Everything looks the same.

The traffic is also TERRIBLE and NOBODY knows how to drive. It’s like you have to be retarded to get your license there.

If you’re thinking of moving, it could be worth it for a few years depending on your field. I would not settle down there though.

Traffic is too horrendous to get around. Gotta plan things well in advance to do anything. Lots of crime in some areas. Can easily end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Oh the other hand, it seems to be the place that everybody from the south that wishes to live that "city life" where "everything is happening" wants to go. Especially if you are black. All the teen/early 20cels want to move to Atlanta. It's like the "in" thing to do these days

It has good food and lots of sloots in the Buckhead area bars.

But the majority of people are black so if they aren't your type, it's best to go somewhere else. And Follies strip club used to be a top tier club with of a mix of different ethnicities of strippers where you can get your money's worth, but now it's all black strippers with some trashy white strippers thrown it with all black clientele.

And yes, the traffic is bad as Los Angeles.

Most of it is black people

Midtown and the Druid Hills areas are crawling with ethniks

My relatives live there. Good food and some cute girls, but girls have super high standards compared to St. Louis for example. Come to think of it, the only guy who had consistent dating success i know there was a 6’1 mogmaxed white dude

Lots of dudes at bars especially in Virginia highlands. Ratio is off there for some reason. Srsly think the city has become like Seattle or Portland or something

The city had good potential, but it’s drawn in too many tech and IT betas and sub 5 women, so it gets a pass from me

One of my best friends has lived there since after college, and I've been to visit 10+ times. Really great place, I should have probably moved there.

Hot fun sloots, lots to do. Best airport in the world, decent cost of living. Good weather. Good job market. Would still be a great place to move to, maybe I'll consider it in another few years. Anybody saying "most of the people are black" is lying, it's a mostly white metro area and the black people are generally super friendly. It could be tough if you're moving there not knowing anybody(because it's kind of a suburban spread out city), but if you're a social person there's a lot of fun to be had. I've even gone out in East Atlanta and had a really great time, never been in any weird situations or felt danger. I've spent a lot of time in Detroit, and Detroit is much ****tier than anything I've ever seen in Atlanta.

All in all, it's probably not a place I'd want to live forever, but there aren't many better places to live if you're 22-35 age group.

Lol, I've been to Follies. Smoked a blunt in there while getting a lap dance, and I was honestly the highest I've been in years. Those girls are amazingly hot.

Lived in the Atlanta area most of my life. Stay north of I-20. That space between I-75 and I-85 is where you want to be for the most part. You can go off the sides a little bit, but don't go south of I20. The negative part about Atlanta area is that it's becoming like a lot of places where if you want to live in a nice area it's getting expensive.

We have a state income tax, but it isn't too bad. Property taxes are decent, and the way they mill the rate it's good. Power, water, gas is really reasonable.

Born and raised in the ATL area checking in.

The city is an absolute sh*t hole.

Extremely high gay population. To many peaceful “protestors”. And high amounts of crime in general.

Alpharetta and further north up 400 is one of the goat areas to live in the world though.

Lots of good hiking. One of the nicest large lakes in the country. Nice houses for relatively cheap prices.

It’s close enough to the city of you want to go to a big event you can still do so.

If the bar scene is your thing skip Atlanta and drive the hour over to Athens to avoid the blacks and bang white college girls instead. No racist. Athens has a legit bar scene though. 3 rows of streets with bars that you can hop between easily and food to eat afterward.

Traffic is a nightmare though. There’s no real good public transportation which means everyone drives everywhere
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
