PSA: a few food things you should at least try...

1. Peanut butter and pickle sandwich.

I know it sounds crazy, like a pregnant chick type thing. But I promise you, you will love it. The best advice I can give you, is when you decide to try it, make sure you have enough ingredients to make a second sandwich. Because you will want it.

2. Chicken and waffles.

I never gave it any attention. I tried with a friend one day just to try it about a year ago. I completely understand now...

3. Vanilla ice cream and soy sauce.

It taste like caramel ice cream. I’m not a huge caramel fan, but this was just amazing to me because it taste so different than what you expect. And it isn’t bad. Worth trying at least.

4. Now you go. I know you guys have some knowledge.

beef liver with onions and mushrooms. Goes good with white rice or potatoes. Gotta get all the good stuff off the bottom of the skillet and make a nice gravy too

Plain Greek yogurt and Frank’s hot sauce

Fathead dough. Great keto substitute for dough—very filling and extremely flavorful.

*Adding. Tajin on fruit and Lawry’s Seasoning salt on everything.

**Last thing. You can make a really great compound butter with the garlic and aromatics used during a crawfish boil. Just mince everything then mix it with softened butter. Soooo good.

Milka chocolate and a sausage roll

Take one bite of the sausage roll and then a bite of the chocolate, wash it down with a sip of milk and you're in heaven

The juxtaposition of sweet and savoury is to DIE for

Adding plain M&Ms to popcorn. Sweet and salty goodness.

Pasta Cacio e Pepe. It's made from only spaghetti, cheese and pepper, yet if you do it right the sauce is this impossibly rich and creamy bit of heaven:

I feel like I may have tried this before.

When I was making the OP, I was thinking franks and ice cream, but couldn’t remember exactly so left it out.

Will try again.

Can just sprinkle sugar on bread, or dip the bread in milk 1st.

TBCH I am a little skeptical. But you have a trustworthy AVI.

I happened to have some K and B for my pets on standby. Excited about it.

Tried the pb and pickle earlier... had no regular peanut butter so used a mound of pb2. Was still pretty good, 6.5-7/10. Not sure if it was any better than a regular peanut butter sandwich tho. Wife retched when I told her.

Chechil cheese and caramelized pecans. It’s an incredible pairing.

You can wrap it up if you want it to look fancy. The cheese isn’t that expensive, and it tastes nice and smokey. Awesome with a scotch.
