Tradies and alcohol

I just realized something humorous. One of my smaller tasks is forecasting alcohol tax revenue.

The most successful indicator I have as an explanatory variable is tradie employment, srs.

It’s not that tradies drink more or less alcohol whether they’re employed or laid off, but that they do tend to buy more expensive alcohol when they’re employed and switch to plastic handles when they’re laid off.

Thank you tradies for making my officecel job easy, lmao.
